Ingredients

  • 4 cups yogurt of your choice
  • 4 cups mixed fruit, chopped if large
  • 2 cups granola
  • 4-8 empty applesauce cups (4 for pints, 8 for half-pints)

Instructions

  • Assemble the Parfaits: In wide-mouth pint or half-pint jars, layer the yogurt and mixed fruit.
  • Prepare the Granola Cups: Fill the empty applesauce cups with granola. Place the flat part of the lid upside-down on top of the granola cup, invert it, and place the cup and lid on top of the jar. Screw on the rings to join the jars and granola cups together.
  • Refrigerate: Store the assembled parfaits in the refrigerator for up to 4-5 days.

Notes

  • Ensure to use wide-mouth jars for this recipe to accommodate the empty applesauce cups for the granola. Regular-mouth jars will be too small for this purpose.
  • You can use plain, honey, or vanilla yogurt for this recipe. All work well to create delicious parfaits.
  • Get creative with the fruits! Try a combination of blueberries, raspberries, blackberries, chopped mango, banana, strawberries, or peaches to personalize your parfaits.
  • Enjoy these delightful Fruit and Yogurt Parfaits as a refreshing and nutritious dessert or snack anytime!
