Mini Cookies

Mini Cookies are one of those treats that disappear almost immediately after baking. They’re tiny, light, and perfectly snackable the kind of cookies you keep reaching for without even realizing it. Their small size makes them extra cute, but also gives them the perfect balance of crisp edges and soft centers.

What I love most about these cookies is how simple the recipe is. With only a few basic ingredients, you can make a whole tray of delicate little cookies that taste buttery, airy, and slightly sweet. The black sesame adds a subtle nutty flavor and a little crunch, but you can totally leave it out or swap it with chocolate chips or sprinkles.

These mini cookies are perfect for tea time, dessert boxes, party snacks, or homemade gifts. They also look adorable packed into small jars or clear bags. Once baked, they turn beautifully golden with a light crispy texture that makes them super addictive

Ingredients

  • 2 eggs
  • 50 g granulated sugar
  • 80 g cake flour
  • 15 g black sesame (optional)

Instructions

1. Prepare the Batter

1. In a clean, dry bowl, combine the eggs and sugar.

2. Use a hand mixer to beat until the mixture becomes thick, pale, and triples in volume.

2. Add Dry Ingredients

1. Sift the cake flour into the egg mixture.

2. Add black sesame if using.

3. Gently fold everything together until just combined. Avoid overmixing to keep the batter airy.

3. Transfer to Piping Bag

Pour the batter into a piping bag for easier shaping.

4. Pipe the Cookies

1. Preheat the oven to 130°C (266°F).

2. Line a baking tray with parchment paper or a baking mat.

3. Pipe small rounds of batter onto the tray, leaving a little space between each one.

5. Bake

Bake for about 30 minutes or until the cookies turn lightly golden brown.

Serving Tips

  • Let the cookies cool completely before serving for the best crisp texture.
  • Store in an airtight container to keep them crunchy.
  • You can drizzle them with chocolate or dust with powdered sugar for extra sweetness
